    Hi Curt,

This teepee burner was on the way from Ovando, to Lincoln.  If you go to the Ovando store, they can give you directions.  It's actually on the road to Cooper's Lake, or Cooper Lake, whichever name is correct.

There's also a teepee burner at Pablo, Mt.  One at Lincoln, about four miles out of town, headed toward Great Falls.

Robert said there's one out of Anchorage that's still in use.  When the ice fog rolls in, it lights up the country for miles around.  That would be a site.

    Hope this helps!

    Donna

We drove truck through Florida one week.  It was February, so what fun after driving through blizzards to get there.  We enjoyed it but the cab of the truck dripped!  We didn't think we'd need the air conditioning the first night...

We've had the craziest winter.  One little snow storm in November.  Then 50 above and sunshine until now, and today it's a blizzard.  But heck, it's Valentines day tomorrow so how long can it stay winter?  We've got it licked now.glad you're all tucked up with the cats!  And the good thing about painting, it makes the time fly by...I never know hours have gone by when I'm painting.  Are you like that too?

You were obviously very uncomfortable with him and that is reason enough to end things right there.  You did the right thing.  You can see I'm going through and reading all your posts....:)

The whole painting is wonderful!  I couldn't wait for it to unfold on the screen.  I too love the earth tones.  They're so warm and friendly.  This looks like a big painting...

Ah yes!  The donkeys are doing great, although they're a little spoiled, and the same with the cats.  Robert is perking along too. :)  He might be a little spoiled, and I know I am!  All in all, we curl up by the fire and I paint and he looks for 56 buick parts on ebay for his car.  What a life!
